Meet Our Provider

Beth Simmons is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of experience in healthcare.

Her style is deeply rooted in patient advocacy.

She is all too familiar with how often patients have their health concerns dismissed and are left without answers and solutions to their health challenges.

She has navigated her own journey with endometriosis, infertility, allergies, and chronic pain, and has found her own health benefited from an integrative approach.

As the mother of neurodiverse children, she also understands the unique challenges that may arise and the extra supports that families often benefit from.

She is dedicated to helping parents support their children in achieving optimal health and believes in parental choice to make the decisions that are best for their child's unique needs. She believes that functional medicine in particular is well suited for neurodiverse children that often do not respond well to traditional medications and modalities.

Beth holds licenses in Florida, Arizona, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington. She is uniquely positioned to be able to support many of the seasonal Naples and SWF residents. Telemedicine, home visits, and office visits are available.

Testimonials

Mary H.

Beth is a warm and validating practitioner. After struggling to be heard by doctors, her caring approach was refreshing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about hormones and how they affect various aspects of your life. Living as an autistic woman with chronic illness can be difficult, but her advice has helped me manage some aspects of it. Each aspect improved leaves more energy for another. She’s a credit to her field

Nurse Practitioner Beth is a patient, kind and talented wound care nurse. I have come to trust and rely on her opinions and integrity, over the course of several months of treatments. Highly recommend!

Marissa

I’ve seen Beth on and off over the course of 4 years, as she’s a bit of a distance away. I have seen her for post-op care, pelvic floor dysfunction, PCOS, and adhesion treatment. She is one of the most caring and compassionate providers I’ve come across in my 23 year pelvic pain journey. She has always taken the time to listen and understand. She has helped me get to a place in life where my conditions are completely resolved and properly managed.

"Beth is more than a nurse practitioner, she is a healer. I came to Beth a few months ago with well over a decade of hormonal/women's health issues, physical pain challenges, trauma, and nutritional and overall health issues. Beth is everything the medical profession should embody. Knowledgable beyond belief and a constant "student" always learning more. She does not participate in the medical industry status quo of symptom masking and running up patient bills. She is root cause and detail oriented and seeks to heal rather than mask. Truly empathetic to humans and animals, kind, humble, and so very considerate in all communications and discussions. She will never engage in medical gaslighting, trusts the patient to know their body and their symptoms, respects the patient's preferences and beliefs, will offer different types of treatment options and let the patient make an informed decision as to which to embark on, and makes what could be difficult or embarrassing health discussions comfortable with a very safe and warm demeanor. Beth is a master strategist at diagnostics and recommended diagnostics to me from the start that were accessible, extremely insightful, and highly relevant. She is a person of extremely high integrity who cares greatly about practicing ethically and supporting the whole person. She is incredibly well versed in the effects of trauma on the body and how to help the body recover, as well. Having Beth in my corner has already garnered numerous improvements in my physical and mental health and has improved my quality of life. I am on the path to resolving many different facets of my health due to Beth's expertise. I highly recommend Beth and am thankful to be her patient"

Beth is everything a Nurse Practitioner should be! She is knowledgeable, authentic, a great listener and very thorough!
I first came to her 8 years ago struggling with endometriosis and pelvic pain. She supported me through a path of surgeries, physical therapy and recommended a daily regimen. I was relieved to find that Beth has turned her concentration to Comprehensive Functional Medicine. Now I am dealing with systemic inflammation.

When I reached out I was having a hard time functioning during daily life. The swelling in my legs was debilitating. The pain, swelling and stiffness in my hands was becoming unbearable. I knew something had to change quickly, but I was not interested in heavy medications. Beth found some deficiencies and recommended supplements and diet change to relieve inflammation.

After just a short week my pain had lessened. By week two the pain in my hands was completely gone! I am confident as I continue this natural approach I will see more improvement.

It is clear that Beth has found her calling! She is very compassionate about helping others. I am so grateful our paths crossed! Thank you is simply not enough!
